I grew up in a Christian home and knew about God. I had great experiences growing up and had the privilege of going on mission trips, helping with local outreach, and helping with hurricane and tornado relief with my youth group. I believe this is where my desire to serve outside of the four walls of church began. I really enjoyed my friendships growing up and I loved Jesus, but after I graduated high school I didn’t know what to do next. I decided to attend community college and earned my associates degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant all the while knowing I wanted to do something great for Jesus.

I spent some time living without the direction of the Lord and doing my own thing. I was at a low point in my life, when I reached out to a friend that had been through a similar journey that I was going through. It was through this relationship that the passion and desire for Jesus started to flourish, but in a new way. It was through tragedy and hardship that Jesus taught me so much. I began to run after the things of God, grow, and mature. That was about 5 years ago and I have been chasing him ever since.

Earlier in 2021, I reunited with a friend at a women’s conference. She told me about Mountain Gateway and immediately I grew excited and wanted to know more. I decided to attend Mountain Gateway’s two week Wilderness Intensive, and I was radically changed. I saw the value of Mountain Gateway and knew God was calling me to the Academy.

I want to say yes to everything God is calling me to. I believe it is our “yes” that propels us forward into our destiny. I know that it will be so valuable to be taught and trained under leaders who share the same passion for the gospel. It is my desire to help others develop a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. I am passionate about bringing heaven to earth and making him known!
